We are Drafting Al Gore in New York! (w poll)

New York Draft Al Gore will seek to obtain the requisite 5,000 signatures to place Al Gore on the Democratic primary ballot. In order to obtain 5,000 valid signatures, we need to get more in the league of 10,000 signatures (on the low end).

Petitioning can not officially begin until Oct. 31. Petitions must be in by the first week of December but in reality the collection must begin more than a week in advance.

Al Gore's signature is not required. He does, however, have until Dec 10 to ask the Board of Elections to refuse our petitions.

But that's a chance I for one am willing to take to restore America. Only Al Gore can inspire and restore the integrity of America at home and overseas. Let's show Al Gore that he has New York's support!

Here's what you can do:

- Visit www.newyorkforgore.com.

- Join the New York Draft Al Gore Meetup.

- Volunteer to be a petitioner. (You must be a registered Democrat in New York state.)

- Download your petitions from our website.

- Donate to New York Draft Al Gore through ActBlue.

The Draft Gore movement is sweeping the nation. Just this weekend, we've also heard that both Virginia and DC are drafting Al Gore for President!
